20 weeks! Half way there and gender reveal!!

Picture of the profile. The baby wouldn't hold super still so it was hard to get a really good one, but you can still kinda see the face in it.
This week has been great. We went to the doctor on Monday, and got to see the baby again!! It's so exciting. I love ultrasounds, I wish I could have one every appointment. The doctor measured all of the body looking for birth defects, and so far so good, the baby looks absolutely normal. No sign of downs, spinal bifida, clef palate or lip, heart defects, or anything else as far as she could see on the scan. That is the best news of all. And, guess what!!! It's a girl! I already knew it. I've known since I got pregnant what she would be, but it's nice to have it confirmed so now I can actually buy things. Colton was so excited about everything. She was sitting with her arm above her head, which is how he sits all the time, so that made him really happy to see and feel really connected to our baby. He is always calling her by the name we have picked out for her now too. I'm not sure if I want to announce it or not, I am slightly worried that if I do then she will be born and I will decide that isn't actually her name. So for now we will let things be. I'm halfway through being pregnant now. It has gone by so incredibly fast that I can't even believe it. Just 20 more weeks and she will be here!!! Now if I could just feel her moving yet then would would be in perfect shape. My parents came to the ultrasound and are very excited to have their first granddaughter. my mom is already buying stuff, like these adorable boots.

I also met with the pharmacy school and talked to them about everything. Basically the said it should be no problem for me to work from home for the first 4-6 weeks after she is born. So unless there are any complications I will not be taking a year off. That is very good news because I really didn't want to but I know I will need that time with my baby after she is born. Life is happy, and we are very blessed. God truly does help make everything work out exactly how it's supposed to.

How far along? 20 weeks 0 days!
Total weight gain/loss: I'm finally back up to my starting weight again
Maternity clothes? Yeah, I should be wearing them. I can still wear normal shirts, but my pants don't even close to fit anymore.

Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: This week has been rough with sleep. halfway through the week school started again and now I'm just completely wiped out now. I guess that's what happens when you have to start getting up so early again.
Best moment this week: Getting to find out our baby's gender, hearing that everything still looks normal, and seeing Colton be so excited about his daughter.
Miss anything? Food, not having my back hurt.

Movement: Nothing yet. I think I have felt a few little bubblings but nothing that I can guarantee is the baby.
Food cravings: I desperately want a good cold turkey sandwich. Which I of course can't eat. It's rough. That is all I want. I think about eating one several times a day at least.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Mostly just  not eating every two hours. Though, I don't ever really feel amazing.
Have you started to show yet: Yep. It's actually kind of nice because whenever I start to think that I look chubby in clothes I just laugh and say it's okay because I'm pregnant. I will miss that excuse.
Gender: GIRL!!! Our beautiful perfect little baby girl. I knew that was what she was but it's nice to be positive so I can buy stuff now.

Labor signs: no
Bell button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on, though I do have a little swelling starting in my fingers.
Happy or moody most of the time: Mostly happy I think.
Looking forward to: Getting our nursery set up at some point, getting to feel this little girl moving.

Baby is the size of a banana!
She's got working taste buds.
Now, she's gulping down several ounces of amniotic fluid each day -- that's significantly more than before!
