4 months old

At four months:

Weight: 13 lbs 7 ounces
        Percentile: 53%
Height:  25.5 inches
        Percentile: 90%
Sleep: For the most part Elli has slept great. She has started sleeping 7 hours basically every night. How well she naps varies from day to day but we are trying to get her to sleep more in her crib during the day so she doesn't sleep for near as long that way but we are working on it. She is starting to get harder to get to sleep at night this week, I think it is just a stage thought that she will grow out of in a few days.
Clothing size: 3-6 month, she still fits in a few things from 0-3 but her wardrobe is adorable in that size so it's okay with me. She is also in size two diapers now.
Milestones: Babbling, smiling, getting much better and holding and batting at toys, sitting up, standing when we hold her, she also can roll from her side to her back and is really close to being able to roll from her back to her stomach, which is funny because it's completely backward from how most babies do it since she won't roll from stomach to back yet.
Special Outings: We went swimming twice this month. Elli absolutely loved it. Seriously, the first time we took her the water was really cold but she didn't even care, she never cried or anything, just stared and the second time she smiled and cooed like crazy. It was very fun, we plan to take her once a week now. She also got to go and watch Daddy and her Mimie graduate. We are very proud of them.
Month Highlights: Our second round of shots were today. It was harder this time and she cried a little more. She was happy after the fact but I think she's a little sore so she has had a few baths and now seems to be doing better.
Big Changes: She's much more aware and engaged. She is way more interested in playing with toys and loves to babble and coo now.
Elli's Favorites: Bathes, swimming, walks, daddy and mommy making faces and cooing at her
Thoughts: I just can't believe how fast and how big shes getting everyday. I love this girl. I am starting to panic about the idea of going on rotation because then I can't spend most of the day with her every day like I do now. I am scared I am going to miss something. Like her first laugh, or crawl, or just something like that. She is such a good baby.

3 Months old

At 3 months:

Weight: 13 pounds 1 ounce
        Percentile: 57.9%
Height: 24.5 inches
        Percentile: 88%
Sleep: Really good for the most part. She has slept through the night probably half the time this month and most of the rest of the time has only woken up once. However, she did have a really crappy week around week 11 where she was up every couple hours. Must have been either a growth spurt or some developmental milestones that she was hitting, I'm not sure which.
Clothing size: 0-3.  However, she's getting really close to getting to 3-6 month clothes.
Milestones: Starting to sit up better now. She's also starting to try and roll over though she isn't quite there yet. She has started babbling much more and smiling a lot. She is also starting to grasp things a little more.
Special Outings: We didn't really do anything too special. Just the usual. She also got to see a few of my classmates because she was bigger. We did actually make it through all 3 hours of church one day so that was fun.
Month Highlights: Elli got her shots this last month. We were really worried about them but she did great. She only cried for about 30 seconds and then once we picked her up she was fine and happy the rest of the day and then slept for two days straight.
Big Changes: She's more aware, talks much more but other than that she is mostly the same.
Elli's Favorites: Bathes, even more so now than ever, she plays in the water and kicks and splashes more and more everyday. I'm loving it. She also likes being swaddled, sitting up, and now that we do tummy time on the boppy pillow so she can see better she loves it.
Thoughts: I love this kid so much. I can't even tell you how much. It hurts me inside to realize how much I love her. As she grows each day all I want to do is just play with her and get nothing else done. I'm getting more and more excited to see who she is going to become as she gets older. she is just so much fun, more and more everyday. Nursing is going great and so is everything else. I'm very grateful to have such a happy adorable baby.
